Heaven Sent~Rock your Fashion~ Holiday Trunk Show
A week before Thanksgiving, Fashiona went to the live taping of Heaven Sent -Rock your Fashion. It was cold outside (so much so that the red carpet was inside). The studio was chilly too which Fashiona was expecting because studios are kept cold for a reason…but does anyone know why exactly?
A live taping is different from a live show…(Saturday Night Live for example). A live taping records the event and re-records until they get it perfect. On this night there were costume changes, make-up touches and a light catered affair.
Heaven Sent NY, a sponsor of the show, is a fashion showroom run by two dynamic executives Simone Boyles and Leigh Bombara. These two ladies have fantastic personalities and are building a lifestyle brand by connecting designers, stylists, artists, interior decorators, fashion show coordinators and everyone connected with making a fashion line more successful.
Trends for look in watching this Holiday Fashion Show:

- Leather is in, soft and supple and in the form of short jackets.

- Lashes are big and bold. Leigh from Heaven Sent has the most beautiful long natural lashes ever. If mother nature didn’t bless you with them, any skilled make-up artist can apply them for you.
Hey Fashiona, the inside secret to keeping the studio cold is the cold keeps you up and alert. Never heard of someone falling asleep when they are cold. The models looked fierce and their walk was mean.
