Alicia shares “Fashiona’s” History

Dr. Jekyll had Mr. Hyde, Beyoncé has Sasha Fierce…I have  “Fashiona”.  My friend from high school, koko, before she became mrs. koko( yes she prefers lowercase letters) and  preggers with baby no. 4Surprised, suggested that I share the history of “Fashiona“.

Well… we creative people are always cooking up ideas, some fully develop quickly and some stay in the incubator.

I literally woke up one day with the character “Fashiona“  on my mind and  jotted down the first few paragraphs of what I posted as my first blog entry - Fashiona’s Merry go-round.   I came up with the name Fashiona” as tribute to the fashionista - a woman who is forever fashionable. Fashiona evolves with me as I am make my way through the world of fashion.    I feel very fortunate to be able to turn my childhood obsession into my life’s work and share my some of my adventures through “Fashiona“.

Now Fashiona did attend and have a ball at the live taping of Heaven Sent-Rock your Fashion event on Tuesday.  She will tell you more but she is also writing for other outlets and is  still deciding just how to tell the tale and  to whom  and in which order. Alicia “aka”

I agree, to live out your childhood dream is definitely LIVING. Congrats on finding what most people are still searching for… and we’d love to hear your story. :-)

I never thought to develop a character for my blog LOL. I guess I really will never be a fiction writer (thats OK its not my dream), in fact as I’ve got more used to blogging I’ve started using my real name more and more: I guess that’s my brand. I like Fashiona and look forward to reading more of her adventures!
