So Fashiona met with her accountant, a lovely man, really, Topaz really recommended him.
The good news is… she doesn’t owe the IRS any money
.
The bad news… Mr. Numbers has officially curtailed her shoe habit for a year (yes 365 days
) as little Miss Fashiona generates more income.
Hmm….so Fashiona got her her spending wings clipped but she is ever enterprising. A few weeks prior to getting this inevitable news from Mr. Numbers, she applied to write for The Examiner. She got the gig and guess what she is writing about shoes…and accessories.
Miss Fashiona is the New York Shoes and Accessories Examiner. Here she can look and write about all the lovely shoes and shiny, blingy things she wants and get paid for her efforts. Her rating system is :
- Champagne Shoes
- Vanity Shoes
- Everyday Shoes
Ummmm no, she can’t buy shoes with this new income…she has to pay off the credit debt from the excessive baubles she bought last year.

It is finally Thanksgiving
and Fashiona’s favorite holiday of the year. This year she is dining with her BF’s family…big step for this commitment-phobe. She usually spends Thanksgiving with her own family but she is breaking with tradition this year. She did make a surprise visit home last week and will be back for Christmas.
Fashiona seems to dress up when she is bit a nervous so she is breaking with her own tradition of jeans a sweater and wearing a dress and heels.
So a very Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours to all who celebrate. Fashiona does know that she has a lot of international readers so if you are one them please let her know what holiday you honor and she will include them in her well-wishes.
Friday is Black Friday, quickly followed by Cyber Monday two very big shopping days. Go easy on your credit cards. Debt is like eating…very easy to go overboard and very hard to get rid off. Fashiona knows this first hand.
So again, enjoy this time with your friends and family.
Time with them is precious. The recent terrorist attacks in Mumbai , India should reminds us of that fact. To anyone who was affected by those senseless acts…Fashiona’s prayers are with you also.

Fashiona actually enjoyed the AMAs this year- the stars looked great for the most part and behaved themselves(even Kanyé..shocker).

Fashiona was NOT digging his high school varsity look and what is that hanging from his pocket - a fox tail!!
Jimmy Kimmel as a host was as exciting as dry toast. Fashiona is no comedienne but she does feel that snarky comments have a little extra zing when they are properly timed and his, just seemed off. His outfit - the black on black tux…just ok.
Christina Aguilera opened the show with her signature platinum hair and red lips. She performed in a black body suit-a few artists did but Fashiona will get to that.

Fashiona is a bit late on bestowing this award. Dori from a yellow house in England gave her this award a few weeks ago…thanks again Dori.
Fashiona loves to read and loves to read different types of blogs. When she gave out the “I love your blog”-her choices were overwhelmingly style blogs.
For this award she wants to mix it up a bit so here are her picks in no particular order:
- Bobbie Dawn - She has one of the best classic pin-up collections around.
- Margie and Edna are two fictional elderly sisters, created by the owners of the site.They are really quite funny. You can picture them clucking like two old hens.
- First Door on the Left -Fashiona went to this blog repeatedly over the course of the presidential election and with good reason.
- The Virtual Dime Museum - She is native New Yorker with a love for history from an artistic point of view.
- The Modern Historian -He is an academic historian who shares his knowledge with the blog world.
- Searching for me-30’s are about self discovery too -Kelly is a hoot. When reading her blog, you feel like you are part of her family sitting down at Sunday dinner. Her blog is deeply personal but her comments on history and politics are dead on.
