Fashiona and the Water Woes
You know that Fashiona was going to a wedding this weekend. It was beautiful, the wedding, the ceremony and the bride but Fashiona has promised that she won’t reveal anything more…
The funny part of the whole weekend was that she almost didn’t make it TO the wedding. Was her dress not fitting because of the heavy calorie laden food she ate over her vacation? No…but good guess.
The flight left late but was otherwise uneventful. She checked into the hotel, had a snack and took a nap. She woke up beautifully refreshed and was about to jump in the shower. Just like how true cooks start an large Thanksgiving dinner the day before, Fashiona was going to start her beautification process the day before but the water didn’t turn on. No - not the hot water wasn’t working, NO WATER came out of the tap.
Fashiona didn’t panic yet….she tried the sink faucet hmm - not working. Fashiona tried calling the front desk and there was no answer. That is when the panic set in…
She tries again and no answer. Fashiona is now thinking that she is in a bad Lifetime movie where some crazy stalker has followed her to the hotel and somehow disconnected her water supply. She gets dressed and goes to the lobby…carrying her can of mase.
The good news is there are NO stalkers in sight…Bad news is there is a water main break in the city and the hotel no longer has running water-None, zero, zip. The wedding is tomorrow and Fashiona has to find another hotel…with a vacancy…and running water…on her almost maxed credit card.
Three hours later, Fashiona finally scores a new hotel reservation and checks in and immediately turns on all the faucets. She has found Nirvana -in the form of a working shower.

oh wow! That would be awful! There are a few things you expect from a hotel. A bed with clean sheets. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Running water.
I’m glad it was not a stalker and I’m glad you found a place with water. I bet the other wedding guests felt the same!

I don’t normally respond on the blog but in this case I will.
Fashiona exaggerates as usual but THAT is why writing through her is so much fun. She was the only guest that was staying at that hotel. Neither the bride or the other guest were affected. YAY. The water was apparently back on the next day.
