Fashiona turns 50!!!!

Published by curlydesign at 9:33 pm under Entertainment, Fashion, Jewelry Edit This

Whoo Hoo! Fashiona turned 50 this week.

Not her…but her blog did, this is actually her 52nd post.

Fashiona, herself, has fully recovered from turning 30 in 2005. Bump-the-whole-3o-is-new-20-stuff-that-Botox happy -Hollywood is spewing. 30 is 30 and rocked poor Fashiona to her core. Thankfully, the Thinktank swooped in to pry Fashiona from the french fry habit she picked up and the 10 extra pounds in turn. Finally Fashiona faced the inevitable and finally planned a 20-10 party. Yes, (she turned 27, 28, 29 and then 20-10)and that was on her cake.

There was a dress code, the no flip flop code was strictly enforced. Fashiona had a red carpet and because she had recently broken up with Dr. Nut, she invited her adoring fans. Thanks to Ms. M, who bought Fashiona a tiara that she wore to her party and still wears stares at on bad days). Even Fashiona’s Sis came up for the party to celebrate and (to point and laugh) because she was then 27. Sadly, Topaz was sick that day but Fashiona got her back by dragging her to watch her get her nose pierced. Sorry Topaz.Innocent

But now at 32 Fashiona is back to her fighting weight and is happy with her accomplishments. And she is rethinking the whole 40 is the new 30. No Botox needed, she believes in working out, lots of sunscreen and chemical peels.

Later this week in honor of the Beijing Olympics, Fashiona will highlight Chinese Designers.

You know, I may have to enforce that no flip flop rule!

They are fine for slippers around the house….

I went shoe shopping with a friend this weekend to look for shoes for her niece’s quince. She’s preggers and her feet are swollen and the dress is a hard dress to find shoes to go…

anyway. after hours of shopping and no luck, she looks at me and says, can’t I just wear my flip flops?

NO!!! I said flip flops are not really appropriate for most of the things you wear them for, let alone a formal party!

She has worn these ratty old flip flops to work!!!

What’s a girl to do? I think I should call Stacy & Clinton and ship her off to NY for a week! :D
